Woman asks BR to recommend audiotapes for friend undergoing chemo.
I have a friend who suffers from leukemia, and she has been taking chemotherapy. I want to buy some audiotapes which can help her to challenge the difficulty and to strengthen her energy. Could you please introduce some tapes for me which are suitable for her (I need about 2 tapes).
In addition, I couldn''t find the one about enhancing the Immune System in your audio sample. Is any tape similar to this one there? Thanks for helping me.
We don’t have one specifically for the immune system, and I wouldn’t recommend it anyway, as she has a blood cancer that acts a little differently than some of the other cancers.
A lot depends on what therapies and procedures she is about to undergo. If it is only chemotherapy, I would recommend the 2 chemo titles - Carolyn Daitch''s ( http://www.healthjourneys.com/product_detail.asp?id=170 ) and mine ( http://www.healthjourneys.com/product_detail.asp?id=5 ).
Or, if fatigue is a significant side effect, she might prefer only one of the above mentioned chemo audios, plus the Chemo-Related Fatigue tape - http://www.healthjourneys.com/product_detail.asp?id=65 .
And finally, if she is about to undergo bone marrow transplantation, I would definitely get the BMT tape - text http://www.healthjourneys.com/product_detail.asp?id=95 , along with either the chemo imagery or, if she has many procedures to go through, the Relaxed & Awake during Medical Procedures tape.
Whatever she is having to deal with first, that''s the title you want to pick. Or, if there are 2 things at the same time, get the tape that addresses what she’s most worried or upset about.
Hope this helps,
