I simply cannot believe that we are well into the 2014 professional program – it’s almost March!  There have only been some minor changes to the overall terms of the program, including our ability to take the Discover Card, and the addition of some wonderful new products, available with our deepest discounts. I was happy to see so many of you take advantage of the 10% discount on all downloads last year, and with more titles than ever available in that format this year, I’m hoping the trend continues. For a copy of the current terms of the program, click here.

What is new, however, is something that we’ve thought about launching for a very long time. So many of you have asked for a guided imagery library, a sample collection or other recommendations for either a lending library in your practice, or just a great sampling of titles that would cover the many differences you see in the people you serve.  Well, we are pleased to tell you that they are finally available.

We are offering an 18-piece CD set at the incredible price of $220.  Further, we’re offering a smaller 12-piece CD set at the very low cost of $155.  After this incredible savings, you may then add a book option to receive Belleruth’s three best-sellers at a terrific 30% off. These sets will be available for purchase immediately and can be found here.

To highlight the launch of these new libraries, we have several free giveaways – if you purchase 5 or more pieces of product from us by March 21st, 2014, and use the code LIBRARY when you order, we’ll enter you into a random drawing for any one of the fabulous gifts below. (mp3s, Playaways and Aura Cacia oils are excluded) We are gifting:

  • Three (3) separate sets of Belleruth’s three books to three very lucky winners! This includes Staying Well with Guided Imagery, Your Sixth Sense, and Invisible Heroes: Survivors of Trauma and How they Heal.

  • Three (3) other fortunate entries will receive our 15-minute De-Stress CD and immensely popular Sweet Dreams Sleep Mask.

But hurry! The deadline for your order is 1pm eastern time on Friday, March 21st, 2014.

REMEMBER: You must be a member of the Health Journeys’ Professional Program to partake in this great giveaway, or even to purchase these packs in the first place. So, if you have not done so already, please sign up for the program here!

So there you have it. I hope you’re half as excited as I am about these new libraries.  I’m in my fifth year here at Health Journeys, and I’ve loved working with each and every one of you. I hope that you send me your success stories, or heartwarming ones, or those of the people you serve, as well as share your thoughts here on this blog. It’s yours, really.

As always, I look forward to hearing from you via email at: info@healthjourneys.com or via phone at 800.800.8661 x100 any time. Thanks for all the good work you do, and be well in 2014!

Meet Health Journeys' Professional Relationships Manager http://blog.healthjourneys.com/health-journeys-professional-program/meet-health-journeys-professional-relationships-manager.html http://blog.healthjourneys.com/health-journeys-professional-program/meet-health-journeys-professional-relationships-manager.html Meet Health Journeys' Professional Relationships Manager

I’m delighted to be joining you today on our new Health Journeys’ blog!  This year, I’ll be celebrating four years with this great company and group of individuals, and also in my role as team lead of our Professional Program.  It’s a wide and varied group, encompassing everyone from retailers and private practitioners, to huge hospital systems and military installations.  It’s certainly been a thrill to get to know so many of them and their varied needs.

Guided imagery for me began back when I was in my late teens, suffering from extensive migraines and rebound headaches whenever the medications wore off.  It was a never-ending cycle. Thankfully, I had great parents who took me to an incredible head pain center at a major university, got me admitted and worked with the doctors and staff there to relieve the plague of the migraines.

There, I was introduced to things like biofeedback and something called ‘visualization’. It would’ve been just a couple years before Belleruth began her guided imagery series.  When I left the hospital, I was sent home with a case of four cassette tapes, with a kind of creepy guy’s voice repeating a lot of the biofeedback (on two of them) and visualization (on the other two) that I had heard and learned at the pain center.

Regardless of the nature of the man’s voice, those tapes became a bit of a lifeline for me as I got back to normal living.  And while that practitioner’s name is a long forgotten one, it was a fantastic feeling when I came to work here, and really started listening to quality guided imagery.  I had done a bit of mindfulness before here, and knew Thich Nhat Hanh and Jon Kabat-Zinn and their wonderful work, but I also knew that good mindfulness took a lot of work and practice.

Fast forward to today, and I’m excited every day to share the good news of guided imagery and how easy it is to use.  You don’t have to be good at it, you don’t have to even really believe in it, and practicing in the traditional sense, just isn’t necessary.  Over time, listening to guided imagery more and more will improve its effectiveness – but, it’s so easy! And therein lies the magic.

It’s easy to integrate guided imagery into what you do, and great to use something that’s drug-free, requires no set up or practice and seamlessly works into the grooves of life, regardless of personal, political or religious leanings. Guided imagery really is for everyone. And our Professional Program includes all sorts of discounts – and not just for bulk ordering. So please feel free to give me a call at 800-800-8661 Ext. 100, and let’s talk about how guided imagery can help you and the work you do.  You can learn more and sign up for the Health Journeys Professional Program here.

Cheers,
Elizabeth
