A woman who was helped by guided imagery during her chemotherapy, finds the special place she used in the imagery - a pier by a tree-lined shore of a river - actually existing at a friend’s..
Dear Health Journeys,

Chemotherapy was frightening. Just the thought of being poisoned was enough to make me not want to undergo such treatment. Your Chemotherapy CDs were calming and helped me to get through the ordeal.

In fact, I still listen to the CD''s for relaxation. Just as the CD instructed, I imagined my "special place", which was a pier coming out of a tree-lined shore by a small river.

This morning, I just returned from a friend''s newly built pier. Unbelievable! There was the pier of my guided imagery! Is it true that there is no such thing as a "coincidence"?
