Remember C.J., the hockey playing guy who spent a lot of high school recovering from a very tough bone marrow transplant? Well, here’s what his Mom reports about him these days:

Dear BR and staff,

C.J. has just moved into a dorm at a local university. After all he’s been through, getting back a social life has been tough. His friends have always been caring, but his health has not always allowed him to keep up with them.

But he now has a girlfriend!! She''s super.

We still have many hurdles to cross, but we are very grateful to be crossing them.

His Donor from Boston has, after 11 years of trying, had a baby boy. His middle name is "Christopher", as is C.J.’s.

We remain great fans of guided imagery.

Take care, All our love and gratitude,
C.J.’s mom
