I was asked to talk about guided imagery and to play a sample for our department meeting. I played the introduction and the guided imagery portion of the Diabetes CD..
Dear Belleruth,

Since you are coming to our Great Lakes Wellness Conference next summer, I was asked to talk about guided imagery and to play a sample from one of your CDs for our department meeting. I send your Diabetes CDs to our members who have diabetes and have always had enthusiastic responses from them.

I wanted the group to have a really good experience of your guided imagery. So, I took a good chunk of meeting time and let you speak for yourself. I played the introduction and the guided imagery portion of the Diabetes CD all the way through (I think I am the only one in the group with diabetes.)

The group really got into it and loved it. There were comments like "This is the best meeting we''ve ever had," "Wow," "I need to start every day like this," etc. ( I will be placing a group order soon.)

In the CD you talk about light coming down from above and then progressively vibrating through the body parts. I have always visualized this in my own body. But this time, I visualized a ring of light vibrating through all our bodies and moving through our feet, kidneys, hearts, etc. as we sat around the tables facing each other. It was a new and powerful experience for me.

By the way, our meeting was held yesterday, election day, and there were major frustrations due to long lines and other glitches at the polls. We thought you could create guided imagery for voters. Then we''d be the people standing in lines at the poles with smiles on our faces and MP3 players plugged into our ears!!
