This is a lovely note about the power of imagery and the importance of having an intellectual understanding of the nature of trauma in order to heal from posttraumatic stress..
Hello Belleruth,

I wanted to take just a moment to say thank you and to let you know how much your work means in my life. "Invisible Heroes" has been at my side since shortly after its publication. Sounds kind of dramatic, but true.. I continue to learn, to move forward, and most amazing of all, to heal. I am not the "walking dead" (my words for what I understand the diagnosis of PTSD has meant in our present culture). Yay! The knowledge you share makes me know I am understood and the tools you share are a gift of healing I never imagined. Many blessings each day to you and yours!
