Woman expresses gratitude to BR for her work

29 Aug
This beautiful and touching note came last week from someone who wanted to express her gratitude for BR’s imagery, but in writing it, she gave more than she got..
Dear Ms. Naparstek,

Your guided imagery for grief and pain came to me at just the right time in my life, as I grieve the loss of three very close people in a year’s time, and as I cope with chronic pain. I see that your approach is not specifically Christian, but none of it is opposed to my Anglican viewpoint. Your approach is also impeccably rational/logical, too. And you are never patronizing or minimizing. Thank you.

Your book on trauma was also useful, as there was a fair amount of that in my life, too.

And the dedication in it to your husband brought tears to my eyes. I am so sorry. I see that you have dedicated other books to him, too. You must have been quite a team.

I hope some of the comfort you have offered comes back to you.

Sincerely & gratefully,

Belleruth Naparstek
