Hello, everyone.

This week is the 2007 NICABM conference at Hilton Head, the popular, one-of-a-kind, annual convergence of cutting edge information and leading practitioners in the psychology of health field. This year features, among other luminaries, Bob Scaer MD, Mary Sise LCSW, Fred Luskin PhD, Carol Look LCSW, Andrew Newberg MD, Dan Siegel MD, Julie Lusk, Michael Stein MD, David Feinstein PhD & Donna Eden, Amit Goswami PhD, Kathleen Brehony PhD, Mark Hyman MD, Bill O’Hanlon PhD, Joan Klagsbrun PhD, Norm Shealy MD, PhD ... and a bazillion others. If you’re reading this and gnashing your teeth that you weren’t able to be there this time, you can wait a week or two and then go to and order what you missed from the audio store; or take an online certificate class with one of these holistic health master-teachers. Year after year, Dr. Ruth Buczynski manages to pull off a gold standard, blockbuster of a conference, that just keeps getting better and better, and this year is no exception.

Another wonderful website to visit is Fred and Mary Ann Brussat’s Spirituality & Practice pages where you can enjoy an unbelievably rich variety of resources - e-courses, music playlists, movie, DVD and book reviews, terrific articles, videos, and even a spiritual practice of the day. It’s the Renaissance person’s place to hang, and truly, there’s so much here, you may never want to leave!

For another kind of feast, visit Michael & Justine Toms’ New Dimensions website café where you can hear terrific conversations with cutting edge thinkers and read articles and back issues of their wonderful newsletter. There are no better in-depth interviewers than Michael or Justine - they’re brainy, thoughtful and prodigiously knowledgeable, and they are additionally so kind and welcoming to their guests, that they bring out the absolute best in everyone they talk to. These interviews are absolute treasures. Check it out.

And stay tuned for a brand new format for the Academy for Guided Imagery’s 20th annual conference, because it’s going to be a webcast this year. The planners anticipate a very large global audience on March 13-16, 2008, co-sponsored by the Center for Mind-Body Medicine and the American Health Association. It will feature many of the leading international researchers, clinicians, and authorities involved in guided imagery and mind/body medicine, and will include brief interactive interviews as well as more formal video+powerpoint online presentations. After their talks, many faculty will also participate in live question and answer sessions addressing issues posed by conference participants during online chats.

We’ve got some new imagery coming soon into the warehouse by our very popular hypnotherapist/researcher, Carol Ginandes PhD. Relieve Allergy, Reduce Reactivity is being produced, even as we speak so stay tuned for an announcement as soon as it arrives. We’ve had a huge number of requests for this topic.

And we’re totally psyched to announce that we’ll be producing some brand, new imagery for cancer patients by The Voice himself, imagery pioneer and virtuoso practitioner, Emmett Miller MD, who has put together some masterful immune-enhancing, cancer fighting imagery, as well as imagery to accompany and maximize the experience of chemotherapy and radiation therapy. We’re reading these for production now, so stay tuned for an announcement on that as well!

Do check out this week’s research showing that a pregnant mother, listening to guided imagery for relaxation, not only improves her own pulse rate and heart rate variability, but her baby’s as well!

Take care and be well,
