Hello again.

I’m excited about the new resources we’ve just added to our catalog - including a beautiful Spa Gift Pack for adults and a Kiddie Comfort Gift Pack for kids. There are far too many new goodies to describe, but when you have time, do click on our New Product Page , and check it out.

I''m especially pumped over the Yogateers game for kids, and the Baby Om book of yoga for new moms; David Illig''s legendary Peak Performance Sports CD; Emmett Miller''s Freeing Yourself from Fear; Suzy Scurlock''s Healing from the Core; Peter Levine''s Sexual Healing - all such fine work, and so much more. I think we must have added 30 new titles, or close to it. Check it out when you can.

Well, it looks like there’s a pub date for my new book on imagery and trauma - September of 2004. I''m excited to be almost done and I love working with my editor, who is awesome. So, what do you think of this for a title: Invisible Heroes: Trauma Survivors and How They Heal ? (This is because of the sheer grit, courage and energy it takes people with posttraumatic stress to just fake it and get through the day - at least, when they''re going through the worst part of it. Other people have no idea what it costs them to just go to a kid''s soccer game or drive to work.) Anyway, tell me what you think at This email address is being protected from spambots. Beyond Ordinary Nursing will soon be starting yet another year of outstanding guided imagery training for nurses. If you’re interested, check out the schedule for the various new launches of this most excellent, 110-hour, 4-weekend certificate program at Start-up trainings are scheduled for

  • Feb 19-22 in Tempe, AZ;
  • April 29-May 2 in Manhattan; and
  • July 17-20in Minneapolis.
I’ve heard nothing but raves about this program. People love the work, the content and the teachers. And the quality of the trainees is extraordinary - and as a result they love meeting each other at these sessions.

Our last imagery and trauma workshop ended this past weekend at Santa Ana Pueblo, NM, and it was a great group and a wonderful note upon which to end the series. Next year it looks like we’ll be doing more of these PTSD trainings, plus some imagery and healing weekends for the general public, plus - something people have been asking for, for a long time - a week-long training program for professionals in how to create the most effective kind of guided imagery.

Don’t forget to take a look at Jon Kabat-Zinn’s new research on mindfulness meditation - very exciting stuff - on our Hot Research page.

Take care, stay cozy, and be well.
