Introducing Steve Downey, Our New Biz Development Guy

06 Nov

Hello again.

Jonathan and I couldn’t be more delighted to introduce you to our new business development and sales guy, Steve Downey. . .

He’s been on board now for a little over a week, and already we’re feeling a heady infusion of his energy, enthusiasm, idealism, work ethic, and all-round go-getter, can-do vibe.

You may be hearing from him shortly - or maybe later - but either way, here’s some background.

Steve is a US Army veteran of 6 years, having served as a medic in Iraq, among other things.   He’s done a lot of volunteering and page building for vets, as well. He’s got medals and awards up the wazoo. (By the way, does anybody know what or where the wazoo is?)

He’s been involved in health care and mental health for his entire professional life, in one form or another.  He worked at Walter Reed, in the ophthalmology and organ donor departments, he’s got degrees in audiology and organizational development, and he’s a builder of health, wellness and fitness apps, which he’s successfully taken to market.

As luck would have it, he’s also had a lot of direct sales experience. He’s definitely got the right make-up for effective human connection:  he’s extraverted, super-energized, kind, empathic, intuitive, creative, funny and fun.  He’s got a unique mix of compassion and toughness that can’t be beat.

He’ll be pursuing all sorts of opportunities to get guided imagery and meditation out into the world, civilian and military.  So if you’ve got some ideas for him, or could use his ideas for you (or your organization), you can find him at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or 800.800.8661, extension 100.

So, let the fun begin!  Actually, the fun already began when our quadruple threat new COO, Jonathan Goldsmith, showed up.  Let the fun continue!!

Soon, I’ll also introduce you to Chet Kalra, our brainy, new digital engineer and marketing intern, who’s been making all manner of things possible.  More fun!

All best,
