Hello, everyone.

Although it’s a tad alarming to see the book I slaved over for three years being offered as a freebie to help get people to sign up for a book club, I was gratified nonetheless to see that Invisible Heroes: Survivors of Trauma and How They Heal has been chosen as a featured selection with The One Spirit Book Club. It’s also getting some strong reviews over at Amazon and at Barnes and Noble. We’re frequently told that therapists recommend it to their clients and clients to their therapists, and that’s the best news of all. So even though the book biz has become a tough place for writers to get a book promoted decently (and ultimately readers suffer, of course, from the lack of variety in the bookstores and the glut of "safe" celebrity autobiographies that pile up in every display window, coast to coast), word of mouth saves the day, as it always does. I’ll be coming back to you with my own word-of-mouth list of books worth buying, to do my part in compensating for the ailing book industry’s lack of promotional dollars.

I now have about 3 huge boxes of CDs, DVDs and videos to review for our ever-expanding catalog, and will do so in the weeks to come. Keep them coming, but don’t expect to hear from us right away. This will take some time to do a proper job.

And for those of you whose new year’s resolutions have you shaping up, quitting smoking, losing unhealthy weight, forgiving the trespasses of others, or just being calmer and nicer, our ever-resourceful Team HJ has put a bunch of self-improving audios on sale, to help you meet your new goals and reinforce your good intentions with agreeable support all along the way. Take care and be well,
