I’m delighted to tell you about a trail blazing first for us - we’ve just produced our Relaxation & Wellness imagery in Hebrew. Fania Chazen, a multi-talented, Israeli clinical social worker, professional translator and imagery expert..
Greetings, All.

I’m very happy to tell you about a trail blazing first for us - we’ve produced our popular, de-stressing Relaxation & Wellness imagery in Hebrew. Fania Chazen, a multi-talented, Israeli clinical social worker, professional translator and guided imagery expert, (who was trained by Marty Rossman and David Bresler of The Academy for Guided Imagery, has translated and narrated this imagery into her gorgeous, poetic Hebrew with her buttery voice. Even people who can’t understand a word are moved by the sound and feel of this recording. (... It must be something in the Judeo-Christian-Muslim DNA that resonates with this - a note that pings at the cellular level, from all those centuries of shared Hebrew & Aramaic!)

We’re still waiting for the packaging to get made for the CDs, but, of course, the downloads are ready now, thanks to the wonders of modern technology. Click here, swoon over a sound sample, and send this relaxing, uplifting imagery as a gift to your favorite, stressed-out, Hebrew-speaking denizen of Israel (along with a personalized, enchanting, be-ribboned e-card, of course)!

We have some upcoming events I want to let you know about, too. On March 23rd, I’ll be giving a guided imagery workshop in San Francisco for cancer survivors, their families and friends, and their health care providers, who will get continuing education credit hours for the 9 AM - 3 PM day. It''s entitled Gifts of the Imagination: Surviving & Thriving beyond Cancer.

This will be about using the power of guided imagery to stay resilient, healthy, relaxed and strong, once the rigors of treatment are over. I’ll be doing guided imagery demos, presenting exciting, new research results, answering questions, and showing how to best use this simple, practical, empowering healing and wellness tool.

The sponsoring organization, a group with a name very similar to ours - Healing Journeys - is offering partial scholarships, too. In addition, there are also bargain rates for early registration. For more information, call Jan Adrian at 1-800-423-9882, click here, or email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. .

And on March 24-25, in Sacramento, I’ll be part of a wonderful 2-day event, featuring several illustrious speakers and panels - holistic docs, medical intuitives, experts on shamanism and indigenous medicine - and closing with a concert. This is the popular Heart of Healing conference series. This year the speakers focus on the question: How Then Shall I Heal?

Sponsored by Suzie Daggett''s Insight Journeys, this dynamic, 2-day conference also offers early registration discounts, work scholarships and continuing education credits. For more information or to see the list of luminaries, call 530.265.9255, click here or email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. .

And finally, we’ve been offered a special perk to pass along to you - a savings of $450 off Jim Gordon’s much acclaimed, 6-day, Mind-Body Professional Training, which is being hosted in New Orleans this year, from January 27 - February 1st. This is the 13th year for this stellar, profoundly life-changing training experience - the same program that The Center for Mind-Body Medicine has offered all over the world, in war-torn places such as Kosovo, Israel and Gaza, with wonderful and lasting results.

The Center is bringing this highly acclaimed, multifaceted training to New Orleans to help with post-Katrina trauma relief, by training as many local health and mental health professionals as they can afford (they are currently offering full scholarships for 20 New Orleans health professionals, and hoping to be able to include more). By coming to the training, health professionals from all over the country will not only transform their own lives and practice with some of the most cutting edge skill-building available (nearly all the techniques they teach are recommended in my book on imagery and posttraumatic stress, Invisible Heroes), but they will be supporting recovery in New Orleans as well. Some of my favorite people teach in this extraordinary program. It’s a wonderful and unique opportunity on many levels.

All you need to do to get the discount is mention Health Journeys. More information is available by emailing This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or calling 202.966.7338, or by clicking here.

Okay, that’s it for now.

Take care and be well,
