Hello.

Well, I’m glad to report that the Parkinson’s Disease imagery has finally been recorded, and now, even as we speak, Bruce Gigax, our engineer at Audio Recording Studios, is bent over his keyboard, diligently editing out all the pops, clicks and slurps that are inevitable when using the super-sensitive microphone he deploys in order to allow a speaker to talk into a mike in a quiet, intimate, conversational way. (He threatens to one day produce a recording of all the slurpy, crackly outtakes he’s excised, peppered, of course, with the odd expletive that comes out of my mouth when I misspeak.)

When he’s done, Steve and I will come in and mix the music. We’ve already chosen the artwork for the cover, so, realistically speaking, we should have something in the warehouse in 6-8 weeks, I’m thinking.

Next I’ll get to work on some imagery for panic attacks and for obsessive-compulsive behavior, or OCD.

If you have time, do check out the question in our Ask BR section, because it speaks to the issue of possibly misusing imagery to cover symptoms of larger problems.

I see from all the online orders that our new catalog has hit many mailboxes. Thanks for the enthusiasm over our 20 new titles! You can download the catalog too, by the way, by clicking on http://www.healthjourneys.com/images/products/Catalog200501.pdf .

Okay, take care and be well!
