We’ve been cranking to get our winter catalog out before the postal rates changed, so expect to see our spiffy new list, with over 20 brand new titles on it, in your mailbox..
Dear Everyone,
Like the phoenix, I am emerging (somewhat bedraggled, disoriented, squinty-eyed and confused) from the rubble of my move, and am ready to (once again) set up a date to record the Parkinsons’ imagery that so frequently got interrupted. I apologize for how late this production has gotten. At least we’re back on track, and I truly don’t see any more delays.

Oh! And in keeping with the Parkinson’s theme, take a look at this week’s very encouraging Hot Research entry! A pilot study out of Canada shows that imagery helps an elderly population with balance and postural stability. We already know that imagery helps with motor performance. So this is an exciting addition to the data base.

It’s been a crazy few weeks for everyone in Akron. We’ve been cranking to get our winter catalog out before the postal rates changed, and our intrepid CEO, Dan Kohler, reports that he actually got those puppies in the mail before Sunday, the changeover date. So expect to see our spiffy new list, with over 20 brand new titles on it, all of which are extremely terrific, in your mailbox over the next week or so. (I proudly described some of these new entries in an earlier update letter, which you can access by clicking here, if you’re curious.

But along with all the hoohah about getting this catalog out, we’ve also had an unprecedented number of online and telephone orders, thanks to a wonderful article about imagery by Marian Sandmeier in Oprah’s January O Magazine, a generous recommendation by Andy Weil in his last newsletter, and the playing of a New Dimensions radio interview with the extraordinary Justine Toms - in Australia of all places! So we’ve had all kinds of happy insanity going on in the warehouse, with everyone pitching in to help pack orders and ship stuff out on time. Hopefully you got what you asked for quickly and efficiently, as is our wont.

If you have time, please take a look at this week’s question - it’s about whether one must forgive - something that gets asked a lot, especially around holiday time, and can be very confusing. I give it my best shot at an answer.

OK, take care and be well!
