Well, I just saw an actual hardcover of my new book, Invisible Heroes: Survivors of Trauma and How They Heal, hot off the presses, so it won’t be long before I’ll be able to personalize and sign your pre-orders..
This week a woman with M.S. asked me about what she could do for her condition, and the first thing I did was pop over to Andy Weil’s site, to see what he had to say about it. This is a wonderful resource everyone should know about, with an awesome, searchable database. So, I entered "Multiple Sclerosis", clicked and found a wealth of great, up-to-the minute suggestions - nearly 140 links to various questions and answers, in fact. So for nearly anything that ails you, be sure to visit this comprehensive, thoughtful, responsible website and have a look at what the good Dr. Weil has to say.

I’m happy to say I have a little time off - most of August - before my travel schedule gets dense again. Come September, my book comes out and I’ll be on the move again, first at Ursuline College here in Cleveland, and then at The Peace of Mind Emporium in Rutland, Vermont and the Omega Institute. Check our calendar for more details. October and November get really busy, but I’m not thinking about that right now..

By the way, I just saw an actual hardcover of Invisible Heroes: Survivors of Trauma and How They Heal, hot off the presses, so they must exist somewhere now. For those of you who have pre-ordered the book from us, this means your book will be coming in a short while. As soon as I get back to Cleveland, I’ll look for them, and once they arrive at our warehouse, I’ll personalize and sign them, so they can be on their way to you. I’ll also be finishing my recording of the audio version, and putting up a special PTSD resource page on this website, so people can access good, effective treatment approaches.

The Conferenceworks! workshop designed around the findings in the book is called Breakthroughs in Healing Trauma: Success through Guided Imagery and the New Therapies, and you can find more information about it at http://www.conferenceworks.com/speaker_bnapa_trauma.cfm. These will be hosted at 3 very traumatized areas: the New York city metro area, Washington DC metro area, and Oklahoma City. I’m very excited to be offering this material. I think it will really be helpful to people in an immediate, practical way.

Do keep an eye open for our new catalog. It will be coming in the mail soon. And check out our new items, over at the New Stuff area And our oncology titles that are on sale for a little while longer.

Okay, take care and be well.
