Hello.

Our long-awaited Panic Attack CD is in the warehouse and available as a download as well. As many of you know, panic attacks are heavily associated with an earlier experience of traumatic stress. The same wave of alarm biochemicals that flood the body during traumatic events are what’s buzzing through the bloodstream during a panic attack. That’s why these nasty episodes feel so life-threatening and why so many people experiencing them feel sure they’re dying, even though they know better, based on facts on the ground. This is the biochemistry of threat, after all, and it’s very real and very immediate to the body.

The good news is, we can train ourselves to modulate this alarm state and bring our biochemistry back into balance, more and more quickly and easily, by using simple techniques such as breathwork, mantra meditation, body scanning, guided imagery and affirmations. All of these methods are on the new CD, in a mix-or-match format, so listeners can pick the ones that work best for them.

By becoming skilled at these methods, we become better and better able to reduce the intensity and duration of a panic attack; then head off a panic attack before it can take hold; and, ultimately, get rid of those nasty suckers altogether.

As the U.S. military and the Veterans Administration are now saying, portable, self-administered, fast, efficient, downloadable audio interventions are just the ticket - a best practice for healing many of the hugely distressing and potentially debilitating conditions born of traumatic events.

On another note, the final batch of hardcovers. From here on out, only the paperbacks of Invisible Heroes will be printed by Bantam Dell. So, if any of you are interested in acquiring the real deal, cloth edition for your professional or personal libraries, this is your chance to do it, at a discount price of $17.50. After these are gone, this endangered species will become totally extinct.

We have five pages of new resources, starting over here. If you have time, it’s a good place to visit.

OK, take care and be well.
