Greetings!!

I’m looking forward to seeing many of you in Durham the weekend of July 7-9 for Breakthroughs in Healing Trauma: Success through Guided Imagery & the New Therapies . This 9 CEU workshop is for therapists, health professionals and early responders, but also for trauma survivors and their friends and family as well. I present the exciting, new information on effective ways to help people suffering from the daunting array of symptoms that comprise PTSD. Times have changed, and we finally have something to offer people who are dealing with this.

Because people who read my book, Invisible Heroes: Survivors of Trauma & How They Heal, asked for one CD set that incorporated the suggested imagery in it for all three stages of healing, we did finally assemble Guided Imagery for the Three Stages of Healing Trauma: Nine Meditations for Posttraumatic Stress. These three CDs include the most critical guided imagery mentioned in the book for each phase of recovery from PTSD. For Stage 1, Re-establishing Safety & Control, there is Imagery for Protection & Support, a Walking Meditation and Imagery for Restful Sleep. Stage 2, Healing & Integration, has Imagery to Ease Depression, Imagery to Release Grief and Imagery to Heal Trauma. And Stage 3, Clean-up & Renewal, offers Imagery for Confidence, Imagery for Anger & Forgiveness and Affirmations for PTSD.

The Conferenceworks! group is repeating the workshop in Phoenix on August 25-27 (What can I tell you? It’s in a luxury resort that has air conditioning!) for those who missed the Durham one.

OK, take care and be well. See you on the road!
All best,
