Well, we’re looking to expand our staff. So here’s our "Help Wanted" ad: If you have a background in health, social work, psychology, nursing or wellness, a talent for sales, creative marketing and program development..
Greetings!

Our new CD set based on the imagery recommendations I made in Invisible Heroes is now completed and in the warehouse. Guided Imagery for the Three Stages of Healing Trauma: Nine Meditations for Posttraumatic Stress takes my major suggestions for each phase of recovery - nine in all - and puts them all in one place. This title duplicates much of what is in our Trauma Pack, but offers much more. (We got so many requests for a CD that closely follows the book’s suggestions, that we decided to go ahead and produce this as a separate program.)

As I’ve looked over the requests for what you want me to create next, I noticed one that kept coming up, over and over - for imagery on Parkinson’s Disease. So I’ll start researching Parkinsons next.

We’ve now posted sound samples of the deeply relaxing voice and transformative, healing work of Dutch imagery and hypnosis specialist, Jean-Luc Mommaerts MD, the creator of the Aurelis Auto-Suggestion Method. In our catalog we’ve just added his audio programs for Chronic Headache, Better Sleep, and Irritable Bowel Syndrome, and you can click on the "Details" link under each title to access samples of what I can only call The Voice. This is terrific work, and we’re very proud to carry it. (The Dutch have always been way ahead of most of the world on imagery and other mind-body applications, and this is clearly one example of the talented, cutting edge sensibility coming out of The Netherlands.)

Well, we’re looking to expand our staff, and, for the first time, we’re posting a "Help Wanted" ad here, so we can reach people who understand what we are about. As you probably already know, Health Journeys has an unusual track record for getting guided imagery into mainstream institutions - hospitals, mental health centers, insurance companies, EAPs, HMO’s, professional associations, client advocacy organizations, prisons and health spas. We’ve also managed to get over a half-dozen pharmaceutical companies to give away hundreds of thousands of our audios free, as a premium, to providers and patients. And we want to do more.

So we’re looking for people with a background in either health, social work, psychology, nursing or wellness, with a talent for sales, creative marketing and program development. We’re looking for a certain entrepreneurial pizzazz, and an understanding of what we’re about, what guided imagery can do for people. We want people who have a desire to make a difference and do some good, who can get their drive behind the dual mission of this company - doing well while doing good (that means helping people while NOT going broke).

So if you’re sick of the constraints inherent in working in a large organization or corporation and want some free reign to deploy your knack for creative collaboration and inspired partnerships with other professionals and institutions, please email us your resume at This email address is being protected from spambots.
