We’re getting our new catalog ready for the printer, and I’m very pumped about the new titles we’ll be featuring in it, especially the new Bible-based Tranquilities Series, Amy Weintraub’s Breathe to Beat the Blues..
Hello, everyone!
Well, we’re getting our new catalog ready for the printer, and I’m very pumped about the new titles we’ll be featuring in it.

Many of you know that for some time now, I’ve been combing the outveldt, high and low, for artful, impeccably produced, Bible-based imagery. For years we’ve been getting passionate requests for imagery and meditation that weaves its way around Christian-friendly themes, or the psalms or other Judeo-Christian content. And at long last, we found the right stuff - the Tranquilities Series, for Stress and for Cancer.

This is the beautiful work of Rev. Donna Shenk, a hospital chaplain who is also a cancer survivor, and Robert Miller, a triple-threat naturopath, organist and audio engineer. Together they’ve produced these 2 remarkable collections of 5-CDs each, which combine imagery, scripture, hymns, environmental sounds and aromatherapy (yep, 5 genuine, aromatic oils, each designed to accompany the thematic content of each CD) - to create a powerful, healing experience. I even road-tested these audios with an ad hoc focus group of stressed-out cancer survivors, and it blew away those who wanted and needed this kind of content. So I’m truly delighted to have these beautiful recordings on board.

Breathe to Beat the Blues by Amy Weintraub is a superb CD that brilliantly uses the breath in several ways to combat depression. Impeccably designed and guided, this program is simply wonderful, and highly accessable and do-able, for even severely depressed listeners.

We also have a wonderful workbook and CD kit by Barbara Holtzman called Conscious Eating, Conscious Living: A Practical Guide to Making Peace with Food and Your Body. This is a wonderfully designed and beautifully produced program that promotes a sane and effective approach to healthy eating, that cuts through the psycho diet sensibility and anorexia-producing weirdness that so permeates our culture, to the detriment of all. This is a wonderful guide, and a great complement to our other weight loss imagery and hypnosis recordings.

And speaking of great workbooks, we are also featuring David Bresler’s and the Academy for Guided Imagery’s guided imagery program for smoking cessation, called Break Your Smoking Habit with Guided Imagery. It’s fabulous.

Maureen Murdock’s classic, Spinning Inward, is also part of our collection as well. This book has wonderful program suggestions, guided imagery exercises and excellent coaching for those offering imagery to children and adolescents.

And you can also pre-order my new book, Invisible Heroes: Survivors of Trauma and How They Heal, scheduled for print by the end of August.

Soon I’ll be seeing many of you in Las Vegas, Tahoe, and Keystone, Colorado and Bloomingdale, IL. For more details, click on our Events page.

Okay, so that’s it for now. Stay tuned. Those catalogs will be in the mail soon.

Stay well,
