New CatalogOur spiffy, new Spring/Summer 2008 catalog is hot off the press and getting readied for mailing. We’re all very pumped about all the terrific new stuff in it.

We review hundreds of items for each issue, with persnickety, loving care. So few items make our short list, and you can be assured that what does is very good indeed.

For starters, our magical musician and composer, Steve Kohn, has truly outdone himself with Meditative Reflections, 64 uninterrupted minutes of the same exquisite, soothing music that scores our imagery for Panic Attacks. Give yourself a treat and play a sample of it here.

The jocks among us will be very happy to see two stellar, highly targeted, performance-oriented CDs from that dynamic duo of super-charged coaches, Linda LeClaire and Dr. Bryce Young. We happily introduce From Anger to Athletic Excellence as well as PRP for Tennis (Play, Recover, Prepare).

healthy sleepFor help with sleep difficulties, there’s nothing like Andy Weil’s and Rubin Naiman’s double CD set, Healthy Sleep to provide great info and guided exercises for producing deeper, more restorative rest.

Our fertility imagery has been flying off the shelves, so needless to say, we were delighted to discover Monica Morrell’s truly wonderful therapeutic yoga session to help with conceiving a baby. Called Fertility Yoga, it’s designed to stimulate, energize and open hormonal and reproductive channels, and it’s beautifully produced. She’s a wonderful teacher and guide.

BodhipaskaAnd a dazzling new instructor in the highest tradition of Buddhist meditation is the awesome Bodhipaska, who brings us Meditations for Busy People, Guided Meditations for Calmness, Awareness & Love, as well as Guided Meditations for Stress Reduction. This is beautiful, warm, accepting and profound guidance. (With his exotic, Eastern-sounding name, you’ll be surprised by his fetching Scottish accent.)

The Be the Boss of Your Body series by Dr. Timothy Culbert & Rebecca Kajander, for kids aged 7-12, is as delightful as it is useful, combining an appealing workbook with a kit of mind-body accessories for children. Colorful, well-written, smart and kid-friendly, these enchanting titles include Be the Boss of Your Stress, Be the Boss of Your Sleep and Be the Boss of Your Pain. I’m very taken with these resources.

We’re also very proud to have produced under our own label, two brilliant, new cancer treatment titles, Optimizing Chemotherapy and Optimizing Radiation Therapy by that visionary, golden-voiced guided imagery pioneer, Emmett Miller MD. We’re also adding his self-produced CDs for Permanent Weight Loss, Healing Our Planet and Awakening the Leader Within.

We’ve also produced another title from that ingenious, popular Ericksonian hypnotherapist, Carol Ginandes, PhD. Her new double CD set, Relieve Allergy, Reduce Reactivity, has ten different, masterful exercises to reduce the symptoms of allergy, and we’ve already gotten a terrific response to it.

And I should mention that I finally finished my CD for Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (after far too much obsessing over it!), so that debuts in this issue as well.

pillowAnd finally, we’re all delighted to introduce Mother Earth acupressure pillows and aromatherapy oils, an impeccable product line that’s devoted to relieving pain in very targeted ways, created by quadruple-threat nurse, massage therapist, acupressure expert and aromatherapy devotee, Karen Kowal RN, LMT.

I hope you’ll have time to check out these wonderful new tools, chosen for you with picky, exacting, loving care.

All the best,
Belleruth Naparstek
