New Guided Imagery Mix In Production

09 Jan

Hello again!

We’ve been having wonderful conversations with various incredibly helpful people in Iraq and Afghanistan about what works best to relax our troops, help them sleep, and get a leg up on stress. These conversations are hugely helpful, and we’re learning a lot as we go.

One thing we know for sure: our warfighters love their Playaways, those fabulous, pre-loaded, sturdy little all-in-one MP3’s, complete with earbuds and batteries, that deliver spoken word audio books, language lessons and guided imagery to help with sleep, relaxation, and yep, even smoking cessation.  I’ll be reporting back on all we’re learning soon.

And back in Ohio, on the heels of the screaming success of our new imagery for Heartbreak, Abandonment & Betrayal (which continues to fly off the warehouse shelves), I’m delighted to announce that we’ve now got another new title coming out. It’s called Guided Imagery Mix: Six Brief Meditations for Mind, Body & Spirit, and it’s a set of 6 short but complete segments of imagery designed to provide quick access to a relaxed, healing mind state, when you don’t have time for a 30 minute meditation.

This is something that a lot of you have been requesting for a long time.  The shortest track is under 8 minutes long, and the longest is 15.  You’ll find some of them familiar, such as Favorite Place and Surrounded by Protection, but everything has been re-mastered and the music re-mixed. Some have altogether new music - in fact, there are a total of four of Steve Kohn’s beautiful musical compositions scoring the 6 imagery experiences included here.

There’s also a lovely 10-minute track called Sitting in the Seat of the Heart ; a 13-minute Walking Meditation; a 10-minute guided meditation on Settling into the Body; and 15 minutes of Affirmations for Healing the Heart.

Anyway, I’m glad we finally got around to making this one and I hope you’ll be pleased with it.  We might even give some of these a shot on iTunes, too.  Look for this to be in the warehouse in March.

OK, take care and be well!

All best,
