New Military Transition, War Trauma Remediation Kits

30 Jan

We’re releasing two new kits in honor of our returning warriors at very deep discounts.  For the roughly 70% of our service members, who will be dealing with the normal stresses and strains of reintegrating back into civilian life, our new Military Transition Kit combines our military-friendly Self-Mastery audio, loaded with self-calming exercises, along with imagery for restful sleep, relaxation, help with anger, loss & grief, and of course, some of Steve Kohn’s beautiful, de-stressing music – all for about $20 off the retail price.

And for the 30% we worry about, who suffer significant distress from having experienced difficult combat-related experiences, we’ve assembled the War Trauma Remediation Kit, a group of highly targeted audios that focus on counteracting posttraumatic stress, panic, anger, depression and addiction.  We’ve also thrown in my last book, Invisible Heroes, to explain the biochemistry and neurophysiology of why they’re feeling the way they do and remind them that they’re not crazy.  This kit takes $30 off the retail price.

So if there’s a Service Member among your friends or family or clinical practice, who is experiencing post-deployment stress – of either the garden-variety or the heavy-duty kind - I hope you’ll think about these resources for them.

It’s important that we all address the natural consequences and fallout of war.  We can’t ask our brave young men and women to go fight for us, die for us, experience horror for us, lose friends for us, and then hang them out to dry when they get back home.

We all need to do what we can to help with jobs, fellowship, community support and providing the right resources that can address what they’ve been through.

We’re proud that our audios have been used by roughly 100 veterans’ hospitals and Vet Centers nationwide;  that they’re distributed by the US Marine Corps through their crisis call centers; and that they’ve been part of the U.S. Army’s Morale, Welfare and Recreation audio distribution on Playaways, downrange in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Most recently, Fort Sill in Lawton, Oklahoma has been testing our audios with returning Soldiers during the Army’s RESET phase. I’ll be reporting to the Commanding General on our study this week..

And by now I hope you all know about our 15% Off Gratitude Discount is still available on any of our titles, for all service members, veterans and their families.

OK, take care and be well.

All best,
