Hello!

Well, this week, our new catalog is hot off the presses, featuring a wonderfully talented new group of gifted practitioners and some terrific new resources.

The Job Loss Recovery Program by Lynn Joseph, PhD, is a terrific, 6-session guided imagery CD program, designed to help overcome the stress, demoralization, confusion and anger around job loss; and to improve interview performance, boost confidence, & engender a positive attitude for finding new work. We’ve been getting requests for something like this for a long time, but it took a while to find something this good. I’m glad we waited!

Simply Successful Surgery, for instance, by Linda Voyles, RN, has everything you need to know about getting ready for surgery, before and after the hospital. It covers what to eat, how to use imagery, making your home ready for maximum recovery, navigating through the medical system - you name it. Practical, smart and useful, it’s an ideal accompaniment to our Successful Surgery imagery.

And new parents, listen up!! We have two delicious new CDs for babies that will knock their little booties off. The amazing Raymond Lap’s Lovely Baby CD fuses classical and jazz instrumentals with natural sounds and appealing, adorable, slightly hilarious cooing baby vocals. I love this guy.

I road-tested this CD on two babies, and they were entranced. Toddlers dance around to it. Better yet, I liked listening to it, too. Unlike Elmo’s annoying, repetitive giggle, this CD doesn’t get on an adult’s nerves. A second CD of the gifted Mr. Lap, called Lovely, Sleepy Baby is designed to engender a sweet, soothing sleepiness. It too is fabulous. Clearly this guy is a Dad.

Another favorite that’s been flying off the shelves is the awesome Detox Box, a highly effective cleansing/weight reduction program developed by Mark Hyman, MD, (of Canyon Ranch) and, in her usual, impeccable fashion, exquisitely produced and packaged by the awesome Susan Piver. You answer a questionnaire and then follow step-by-step behavioral, nutritional and yoga suggestions for daily use. It’s all clearly explained in the booklet, 2 CDs and 70 carefully sequenced instruction cards, and, as I said, the materials are as beautiful as they are effective. One of my sons went on the program and in weeks he was feeling great, awash in juicy, focused energy and buff as can be. Washboard abs suddenly appeared, even. Who knew they were under there?

And finally, after years of being asked for the intuition exercises from Your Sixth Sense: Unlocking the Power of Your Intuition, we finally got permission from Harper Audio (they have the rights and produce the cassettes ) to go ahead and make CDs of these intuition-enhancing, creativity supporting, guided imagery exercises. So now Unlocking Intuition is in the warehouse!!

So do check out some of this terrific stuff, which you’ll also find in the new catalog.
Take care and be well,
