On the Road Again… Meet Me in Tucson, Chicago, Providence, Alexandria, Hilton Head…

28 Jun

Hello, everyone.

If you have a minute, you might want to check out some newly posted speaking engagements on our calendar.

For starters, I’ll be keynoting the annual conference of Healing Touch International, which is in Tucson this year, from Sept 3-6.  The theme is Creating Flow - Healing Globally and I’ll be speaking about using imagery to heal traumatic stress, as well as providing an experiential, large group workshop there.  Other featured speakers who will be there are Jan Phillips, Tony Redhouse and Stuart Hameroff. Then on October 9-11, it’s back to Chicago for a weekend workshop with The ConferenceWorks! on Gifts of the Imagination: Surviving and Thriving Beyond Cancer. This is about how to make maximum use of imagery for anyone touched by cancer - patients, survivors in remission, relatives, friends; and there are 9 continuing education hours for professional caregivers. The workshop offers numerous practice pointers and tips; and a generous sampler of guided imagery demo's for every aspect of dealing with cancer. Please ask about the special discount for anyone enrolled in our professional program. For more info or to register, click here,  email This email address is being protected from spambots. This same workshop will be offered again in Alexandria, VA on Nov 6-8.

I’ll be speaking in Providence at the annual meeting of the National Association of Nurse Practitioners in Women's Health which is held at the Westin from October 15-17.  My keynote will be on Breakthroughs in Healing Trauma: Success with Guided Imagery and the New Therapies and I’ll be giving a workshop on Keys to Healing Traumatic Stress: New Discoveries, New Tools, New Hope. And finally, on December 10th, I’ll be keynoting the annual NICABM conference, aka 21st annual international conference on The Psychology of Health, Immunity & Disease, at Hilton Head, SC. by bringing everyone up to date on the extraordinary new things the Veteran’s Administration and the Dept of Defense are doing with guided imagery for our troops and their families.  Imagine This: Our Military is Reshaping Mental Health Care shares the exciting new research outcomes, techniques and strategies for the delivery of cutting edge services to our troops and their families – pre- and post-deployment and in theater as well.
