Hello, everyone.

Well, in the past couple of weeks, we’ve blown through nearly all 500 autographed copies of my new book, Invisible Heroes: Survivors of Trauma and How They Heal, so we’re getting some more for me to sign. It’s very gratifying to see this critical new info getting out there - our ability to help people with PTSD has grown by leaps and bounds, and there’s major catch-up to be done here. We got a lovely review in Spirituality & Health, thanks to those ever-prolific Brussats, at www.spiritualityhealth.com/newsh/items/bookreview/item_9186.html. Do let me know if you want a personalized message in the flyleaf, over and above a signature, and I’ll be happy to oblige. Otherwise, I’m signing them blind, without knowing where they’re going.

And, yes, I’m almost done with recording this monster tome for audiobook. We’ll be putting together a fat CD pack of the unabridged text of Invisible Heroes, along with several guided imagery exercises for the different stages of traumatic stress recovery, some time over the next few months. Stay tuned!

I’m also very happy to report that Roche Labs, in their infinite wisdom, ordered more guided imagery freebies for cancer patients - our imagery tapes for Chemotherapy and for Radiation Therapy. So if you’re in oncology healthcare, you can once again get buckets ‘o tapes gratis for your patients, by hounding your trusted Roche oncology rep, next time he/she pops his/her head in the door. And if they don’t know what you’re talking about, set ‘em straight, OK? Or contact our Supreme Facilitator and Marketing VP, Rich Coleman, at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or 800.800.8661, and he’ll do everything he can to ensure you get ‘em for your peeps.

Our new catalog, with its expanded resources for imagery, yoga, meditation, imagery workbooks and scripts, stuff for the kiddoes and even psalm-based imagery for the more religiously oriented, is now out and we’re kind of amazed at the wildly exuberant response we’re getting. Our CEO Dan Kohler, the initiator of all these changes, isn’t, but the rest of us non-MBA types are scratching our heads at the uptick in interest and sales. Who knew? I guess that’s why he’s an MBA and I’m a psychotherapist.

Sign-ups have been brisk for the new workshops listed on our calendar. We’re especially seeing a lot of interest in the new, weekend, 9-CEU workshops sponsored by the good goddesses at The ConferenceWorks! called Breakthroughs in Healing Trauma: Success Through Guided Imagery and the New Therapies. We have them coming up in the
  • New York City area on October 23-24; in
  • Oklahoma City on November 13-14; and
  • Washington DC area on November 20-21.
You can learn more by clicking on http://www.conferenceworks.com/speaker_bnapa_trauma.cfm or calling 888-517-7089.

In addition, I’ll be in Indianapolis next week (October 6-7) to keynote the state’s National Assn of Social Workers annual meeting; not to mention Raleigh-Durham, San Diego, Pacific Grove, Toronto and Hilton Head. Take care and be well,
